Warner Bros announces release date for Black Adam
For years we heard the Dwayne Johnson was going to be taking on the role of Black Adam, but it appears this would not ever happen. Finally after the success of Shazam! things slammed forward and were back on the fast track with Johnson making the announcement it was back on. He had been posting training getting ready for the role, but not much else had been scene outside of a piece of artwork of him as the character.
Thanks to the Corona pandemic the film got put on hold like most of Hollywood, but now it looks to be kicking off production in April. Through the wait we have been getting more info of the cast joining the feature that includes Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, and Marwan Kenzari as the mysterious villain.
During the DC FanDome event they released cool teaser trailer and title treatment, but that was about it. This week Johnson took over Time Square to announce the official release date of July 29, 2022 for Black Adam to bring his fury.
While we still have to wait you can check out the DC FanDome trailer teaser here now from Warner Bros.
