Director David Cronenberg has such a great and often strange filmography with films like The Fly, The Dead Zone, A History of Violence and Eastern Promises to name a few as well as being a reoccurring character on Star Trek Discovery most recently. Now he is teaming up once again with Viggo Mortensen for his latest flick Crimes Of the Future co-starring Kristen Stewart, and LeaSeydoux.

Crimes of the Future follows the human species as it adapts to a synthetic environment, where the body undergoes new transformations and mutations. With his partner Caprice (Léa Seydoux), Saul Tenser (Viggo Mortensen), celebrity performance artist, publicly showcases the metamorphosis of his organs in avant-garde performances. Timlin (Kristen Stewart), an investigator from the National Organ Registry, obsessively tracks their movements, which is when a mysterious group is revealed… Their mission – to use Saul’s notoriety to shed light on the next phase of human evolution.

While you will have to wait until June 3rd to see the film in theaters you can check out the red band trailer and poster here now from NEON.
