Universal debuts new SuperBowl TV Spot for Fast and Furious 9
There are few franchises that have surprised like that of the Fast and Furious. The original film rolled into cinemas back in 2001. It was such a major hit that it came as no surprise there was a sequel with 2 Fast 2 Furious, but it lost star Vin Diesel to many fans dismay. Since then the franchise has reunited cast members from all the films into one cohesive team, lost some both on and off screen and added plenty of new faces through 8 films and one spin off. Now the family is back together with both old and new additions including John Cena joining the series for the latest chapter F9.
F9 follows Dom Toretto who is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he’s going to save those he loves most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they’ve ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom’s forsaken brother, Jakob.
Director Justin Lin who is no stranger to the franchise helming Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious and Fast & Furious 6 returns to direct which means you know they are taking it to the next level.
While you will have to wait until 2021 due to the Coivid delay, you can check out the new Superbowl TV spot as well as previously released trailer here now from Universal Pictures.
