Sony brings the claustrophobic thriller Panic Room to 4K Steelbook
Throughout his career director David Fincher has delivered some great flicks including Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac and The Social Network. In 2002 he brought the claustrophobic thriller Panic Room starring Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, Dwight Yoakam, Jared Leto, and Kristen Stewart. Now Sony is bringing the film to 4K for the first time with an all-new Steelbook Edition.
Panic Room follows newly divorced Meg Altman and her daughter, Sarah, who play a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with three intruders during a brutal home invasion while trapped in their New York brownstone's panic room, a hidden chamber built as a sanctuary in the event of break-ins. But the room itself is the focal point because what the intruders really want is inside it.
In addition to the film, this release offers bonus content including commentaries and numerous featurettes taking audiences behind bringing the thriller to life. Unlock the door and grab your copy of Panic Room when it hits 4K Steelbook for the first time on February 18th from Sony Home Entertainment.
