Lionsgate announces Red Heat on 4K Ultra
Before his stint as Governor of California, Arnold Scwarzenegger was one of the biggest action stars in the world. In 1988 he teamed up with James Belushi for the action film Red Heat from Streets of Fire, 48 Hrs. and Bullet to the Head director Walter Hill.
Red Heat follows a mutually uneasy alliance that’s formed between the stern Captain Ivan Danko of the Moscow Police and his American equivalent, the Chicago Detective Art Ridzik when the latter captures Viktor Rostavili, a dangerous Georgian drug kingpin. With his partner murdered by Viktor's hands, Ivan lands in Chicago to extradite the crime lord back to Russia, however, when he manages to escape, a frenzied chase in the bustling downtown will begin. In the end, to bring down the ruthless criminal, are the two reluctant comrades who are worlds apart willing to put their differences aside?
This release not only features the film converted to stunning 4K, but also bonus content including trailer and featurettes taking you behind bringing this film to life. Grab your copy of Red Heat when it hits 4K Ultra for the first time on October 29th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment.
