Netflix debuts trailer and poster for The Dirt

I love the latest trend bringing the stories of some iconic bands and musicians to the big including Straight Out Of Compton, Bohemian Rhapsody and the upcoming Rocketman to name a few. Now Netflix is getting in on the fun with their latest film The Dirt focusing on the rise of Motley Crue. The film stars Douglas Booth, Iwan Rheon, Colson Baker and Daniel Webber with Jackass co-creator and Bad Grandpa director Jeff Tremaine at the helm.

The Dirt, based on Mötley Crüe’s 2001 best-selling autobiography, is an unflinching and uncensored story about sex, drugs, rock ‘n roll, fame, and the high price of excess that shows us just how Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee, and Vince Neil took Mötley Crüe from the Sunset Strip to the world stage, and what it meant to become the world’s most notorious rock band.

While you will be able to check the film out exclusively on Netflix on March 22nd you can check out the first poster and trailer here now.
