In 1983 C. Thomas Howell exploded on screen with the iconic Francis Ford Coppola’s The Outsiders, which to this day is still one of my all-time favorite films. Since then, his career has weaved in and out of genres in both the big and small screens, always giving great performances. His latest project, One Mile, is being released as two films with both being released on the same day and co-starring Ryan Phillippe.

One Mile follows an ex-special forces operative who goes off-the-grid when his daughter is kidnapped by a violent community. Alone and outnumbered, he's forced to use every skill he has to track them down, take them apart, and bring his daughter home.

I had the honor to sit down for a quick chat about his role as Stanley Dixon in the film and how he brought this character to life.
