When DC Studios relaunched, they announced the Elseworlds brands for projects outside of the standard DC Universe of films like Superman and Supergirl. One of the most surprising projects comes from The Woman and Black and Speak No Evil director James Watkins focused on Batman villain Clayface. The film stars Tom Rhys Harries, Naomi Ackie, David Dencik, Max Minghella and Eddie Marsan, as well as Nancy Carroll and Joshua James.

 

Clayface follows one man’s horrifying descent from rising Hollywood star to revenge-filled monster in a story that explores the loss of one’s identity and humanity, corrosive love, and the dark underbelly of scientific ambition.
