Before the migration there was the original Greenland now fighting its way onto 4K

Director Ric Roman Waugh and Gerard Butler have had some great collaborations together including Angel Has Fallen and Kandahar. In 2020 they teamed up for the disaster flick Greenland that while great kind of got lost in the pandemic chaos of COVID. Despite that it did well enough to spawn the sequel Greenland 2: Migration that hit theaters in 2026. Now before he sequel comes home fans can grab the original finally making its way onto 4K co-starring Morena Baccarin, Roger Dale Floyd, Scott Glenn, David Denman, Hope Davis, Andrew Bachelor and Joshua Mikel.

Greenland follows a family that fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. John Garrity, his estranged wife Allison, and young son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Amid terrifying news accounts of cities around the world being leveled by the comet’s fragments, the Garrity’s experience the best and worst in humanity. As the countdown to global apocalypse approaches zero, their incredible trek culminates in a desperate and last-minute flight to a possible safe haven.
