Peter Farrelly has delivered some of the best comedies of all time including Me, Myself and Irene, Kingpin and Something About Marry alongside his brother Bobby Farelly. Eventually they split up and started doing their own projects with Peter taking on a wide variety of films in comedy and drama. His latest film takes on the making of the Sylvester Stallone’s classic Rocky in the aptly titled I Play Rocky starring Anthony Ippolito, Matt Dillon, AnnaSophia Robb, P.J. Byrne, Toby Kebbell, Tracy Letts, Jay Duplass, Stephan James, and Kiki Seto.

 

I Play Rocky follows electrifying true story about an unknown actor with an unshakable belief that he wasn’t just meant to write Rocky—he was meant to be Rocky Balboa. Told “no” at every turn, Sylvester Stallone bets everything on himself, holding the line on playing the lead against seemingly impossible odds. The result is the ultimate underdog story behind the ultimate underdog movie.
