Lee Cronin’s The Mummy rises onto 4K, Blu-ray and DVD

Over the years there has been a wide variety of films taking on the concept of the mummy in some form. Director Lee Cronin did a kick ass job with his previous outing Evil Dead Rise so when I heard he was doing a mummy film I was instantly intrigued, but also cautious. The new take on the idea stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Veronica Falcón.

The Mummy follows the young daughter of a journalist who disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.
In addition to the film this release offers bonus content including commentary, deleted scenes, and featurettes taking audiences behind bringing this new vision to life. Grab your copy of Lee Cronin’s The Mummy when it hits digital on May 19th and then on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD on July 14th from Warner Bros Home Entertainment.
