There is no monster bigger than Godzilla other than maybe King Kong. Over the years the titans have crossed paths numerous times including the 2021 film Godzilla Vs. Kong, the fourth film in the Monsterverse that was kicked off with the 2014 Godzilla film. Now the story is heading to TV with the new series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters starring Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski.

Monarch: Legacy of Monsters follows two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch. Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army officer Lee Shaw, taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows. The dramatic saga – spanning three generations – reveals buried secrets and the ways that epic, earth-shattering events can reverberate through our lives.

While we will have to wait until 2024 to see the next chapter of the film franchise Godzilla vs Kong: The New Empire, you can check out the Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters streaming exclusively on November 17th.
