Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have been all over numerous great flicks with the duo directing both 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street as well as The LEGO Movie as well as writing and producing both of the Spider-Verse films. Now they are heading to space with their latest film Project Hail Mary starring Ryan Gosling, Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung, and Milana Vayntrub.

 

Project Hail Mary follows science teacher Ryland Grace who wakes up on a spaceship light years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.

 

In addition to the film this release features bonus content including 5 Deleted Scenes, Commentary by Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and “Earth’s Favorite Eridian” featurette.
