One of my all-time favorite westerns is 1985s Silverado. The film features an awesome cast including Kevin Kline, Scott Glenn, Rosanna Arquette, John Cleese, Kevin Costner, Brian Dennehy, Danny Glover, Jeff Goldblum, and Linda Hunt from The Big Chill director and Star Wars Empire Strikes Back writer Lawrence Kasdan. Now to celebrate the films 40th anniversary Sony is bringing it to 4K.  

 

Silverado follows four unwitting heroes who cross paths on their journey to the sleepy town of Silverado. Little do they know the town where their family and friends live has been taken over by a corrupt sheriff and a murderous posse. It’s up to the sharpshooting foursome to save the day, but first they have to break each other out of jail and learn who their real friends are.
