Cineverse drops poster and trailer for Special-Op: Rent-A-Cop

Martial Arts action icon Michael Jai White has racked up an impressive resume in front of the camera as well as taking on directing duties in numerous films. While most noted for his martial arts action, he has some great comedy chops as well and his latest film Special-Op: Rent-A-Cop looks to blend the two. The film co-stars Billy Zane, Colleen Camp and Chuck Liddell from director William Butler.

Special-Op: Rent-A-Cop follows a former Special Forces operative who takes a low-stakes security job escorting a lively group of seniors to Atlantic City after a career-ending injury. But what begins as a routine assignment quickly turns into a high-octane battle when a dangerous enemy from his past resurfaces—dispatching a relentless hit squad to finish the job. Trapped on the road with civilians to protect, he must rely on his elite training, instincts, and grit to outmaneuver his attackers. Blending explosive action with sharp humor, this underdog hero’s mission becomes a fight for survival.

While you will have to wait to see the film until it hits digital on April 14th, you can check out the trailer and poster here now from Cineverse.
