For years Spongebob Squarepants has been dominating Nickelodeon as one of their most popular series. They have created not only a fun hilarious series, but it has become so much more than just the TV series with a product juggernaut and a feature films. With the recent announcement of the new spin-off series and poster debut for the next feature what better time for an all-new collection. This time Nickelodeon and Paramount are bringing a huge collection of episodes together with the SpongeBob Squarepants: The Best 200 Episodes Ever! set.
This collection contains SpongeBob SquarePants: The First 100 Episodes & SpongeBob SquarePants: The Next 100 Episodes and features every deep-sea adventure from the first 200 episodes of the series. Get lost in the zany and wonderful world of Bikini Bottom and relive every "F.U.N." episode from the first nine seasons including classic episodes such as "SpongeBob You're Fired," "It Came from Goo Lagoon," and "Mermaidman Begins."
I am well aware this show is for kids, but I cannot tell a lie, I love it. I don’t know if it’s the cartoonist in me or my daughters love of the show that makes it all the better, but I love it. The animation is so vibrant and clean featuring great character designs with such a simplistic style. There isn’t a single character here that is not memorable. It is rare a show that has run this long could continue to bring so many laughs and fun characters, but Spongebob continues to do so.

For fans this is the ultimate collection that offers up so many great episodes in one place that allows you to just dive in and stay underwater for all 200 episodes. I cannot remember the last cartoon that had me actually laughing out loud like this one does pretty often. It’s amazing to me that despite having seen so many of these episodes that they never get old. For me this series has always also served as an inspiration for me as an artist with it playing while working and this set offers up that much more.
This is such a great set that not only offers up the first nine seasons of the series in one collection, but also bonus content including music video, tons of featurettes and so much more. As if that wasn’t already enough of a reason to get your flippers on this set it also includes a special poster that was created for Nickelodeon San Diego Comic-Con that features all 760 characters and creatures that have ever appeared on the show.
