For years Spongebob Squarepants has been dominating Nickelodeon as one of their most popular series. They have created not only a fun hilarious series, but it has become so much more than just the TV series with a product juggernaut and a feature films. Now fans of the popular series can bring home more fun episodes with Spongebob Squarepants: Bikini Bottom Bash on DVD.
In this collection, it’s SpongeBob’s birthday, but it’s a surprise, so SpongeBob and Patrick are going on a tour of the surface world while everyone else plans the birthday blowout below. Then, Bikini Bottom throws a wave of other parties: Catch some rays with SpongeBob and Patrick to get into the biggest bash in town, enjoy a girls’ night in at Pearl’s sleepover, raise the pineapple’s roof at SpongeBob’s house party, and celebrate the Krusty Krab’s momentous eleventy-seventh anniversary! Let’s par-tay! The mixed live-action and animation special features the celebrated voice cast behind SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Sandy, Squidward and Plankton playing human versions of their animated characters and guest star David Hasselhoff (Baywatch). Additional guest stars in the special include Kel Mitchell (All That), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans) and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad).
With a show that has been around for so long it has to be hard to keep doing something new with them, but this special does just that in a fun hilarious way.
This series continues to offer up a ton of fun and laughs in every episode that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. I know this show is intended for children, but I cannot help but laugh out loud throughout this show almost everytime. I love that they have maintained the high quality of animation that offers up vibrant colors and sounds that looks and sounds better with every season. This is a fun collection bringing numerous episodes featuring partying like only Bikini Bottom can and in this time the world could use more laughs.
This is yet more proof to why this character and his world has maintained its strong presence in animation for so long. This release offers up 5 fun episodes that will no doubt be a must have for any fan of the underwater sponge and his friends.
