Paramount unleashes trailer and poster for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

For years the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been a mainstay in pop culture with numerous variations on the property in live action, animation, comics and products. When it was announced that the producing team of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberbg were going to be working on a new animated TMNT film I was instantly excited. Mutant Mayhem was awesome and now it is spinning into a 12-episode event series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is streaming on Paramount+.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles follows the adventures of everyone's favorite pizza-loving heroes as they emerge from the sewers onto the streets of NYC. Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey are faced with new threats and team up with old allies to survive both teenage life and villains lurking in the shadows of the Big Apple.

Reprising their roles from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem are Micah Abbey as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael and Ayo Edebiri as April O’Neil with new additions including Pete Davidson as Rod, a lazy rich kid who loves Mutants so much, he’ll do everything in his power to become one, and Alanna Ubach as Bishop, a brilliant inventor who believes mutants are the greatest danger to humanity and that all of them, including the Turtles, must be eliminated. Additional guest stars are still to be announced.

Join the next chapter of the heroes in a half shell when Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles streams exclusively on Paramount+ on August 9th in the U.S. and Canada, and on August 10 in the U.K. and Australia with additional international markets will be announced at a later date.

While you wait, you can check out the poster and trailer here now from Paramount and Nickelodeon.
