Dreamworks debuts trailer for The Croods: Family Tree season 4

In 2013, the world was introduced to the first family of the prehistoric era, The Croods about a clan dealing with their changing world captivated global audiences, reminding us of the timeless importance of family…and just how little we’ve evolved. In 2015 the property first came to TV in an animated series on Netflix before returning to theaters for the 2020 film The Croods: A New Age. In 2021 they returned to TV once again for the new series The Croods: Family Tree that is now heading into its fourth season.
The Croods: Family Tree follows the ever-evolving story of the Croods and the Bettermans as they learn to live together on the most idyllic farm in prehistory. The journey from sparring rivals to unlikely friends is fraught with hilarious misadventures as the two families slowly overcome their differences to turn a tree house divided into a tree home united.
In the new season, excluded from the adults-only cave, the kids create a much cooler kid-cave tempting the adults to switch. A freak lightning storm turns Thunk into a genius while Ugga arranges a “Punch Summit” for peaceful co-existence with the punch monkeys. When a meteor is found to be hurtling towards the farm, The Bettermans and Croods decide how to spend what could possibly be their last day on earth.
While you will have to wait until August 31st to see the new season on Hulu and Peacock, you can check out the poster and trailer here now from Dreamworks.
