Throughout the years there have been numerous iterations of Marvel’s The Punisher in live action. When Jon Bernthal took over the role for the Daredevil Netflix series and eventually his own series he brought a different tone to the character. He seemed gone once again when the series ended, but we were given the gift of his return in the new Daredevil series and the announcement he would be showing up in the next Spider-Man film, but that’s not all.

Much like they did with the special presentation episode of Werewolf By Night, they are doing the same for the Punisher with Bernthal not only back behind the trigger but also co-writing alongside King Richard director Reinaldo Marcos Green who is also directing the episode. The Punisher: One Last Kill follows Frank Castle as he searches for meaning beyond revenge, but an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.
