Amazon MGM Studios puts trailer and poster for The Sheep Detectives out to pasture

Hugh Jackman continues to step into a multitude of roles outside of his famed Wolverine character. His latest, The Sheep Detectives seems silly, but the trailer looks pretty fun. The film from Minions and Despicable Me 3 director Kyle Balda co-stars Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine, Molly Gordon, Hong Chau, and Emma Thompson and the voice talents of Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bryan Cranston, Chris O’Dowd, Regina Hall, Patrick Stewart, Bella Ramsey, Brett Goldstein, and Rhys Darby.
The Sheep Detectives follows George, a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers.
While you will have to wait until May 8, 2026 to see the film in theaters, you can check out the poster and trailer here now from Amazon MGM Studios.
