When The Sopranos hit HBO in 1999 it took the world and HBO by storm running for 6 seasons before ending in 2007. Widely regarded as the greatest television series of all-time despite fans being divided by the end of the series. In 2021 they delivered a prequel film The Many Saints of Newark, but sadly that was the end of the acclaimed series tale.

 

The Sopranos follows New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano as he struggles to balance the demands of his criminal organization with the complexities of family life while secretly seeing a psychiatrist to manage the stress and anxiety behind his panic attacks. The series stars Lorraine Bracco, Edie Falco, Michael Imperioli, Dominic Chianese, Steven Van Zandt, Tony Sirico, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Robert Iler, Drea de Matteo and the late great James Gandolfini.
