Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles:                             Super Shredder

                                                              review by Bobby Blakey

I have loved the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series from the moment it debuted in 2012 and has gotten better with every episode. Now into its fifth season fans have had plenty of time to get in on the fun, but if for some reason you have missed out you can bring some home with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Super Shredder.

In this collection of episodes, the Turtles' training is put to the test as they face their biggest enemy yet - the Super Shredder. As the Turtles prepare to battle Shredder they meet mysterious new enemies with superhuman speed, face an old enemy Don Vizioso and protect the world from Kavaxas in this new DVD collection. Join Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, along with April and Master Splinter, as they embark on epic adventures and more to protect their planet. This series continues to get better and better. The previous season taking them into space for a while gave the show the shake-up it needed to keep it delivering the goods. Getting into this latest story arc with the return of Shredder in Super Shredder form takes it to yet another new level of awesomeness. I love the new design for the Super Shredder that feels like an actual threat and true advancement as opposed to some where they just make the same character bigger. The action is great as always with the always awesome interactions between the turtles making it the ongoing best incarnation of the franchise to date.

This collection features 11 episodes from season 4 and 5 that is sure to be a must have for hardcore fans of the heroes in the half-shell so grab your sai and join the fight when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Super Shredder hits DVD on March 21st from Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment.
