Director Tommy Wirkola burst onto the scene delivering one of my all-time favorite zombie flicks Dead Snow. Since he has brought both the sequel Dead Snow 2: Red Vs. Dead and Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters. In 2022 he teamed up with David Harbour to bring the violence to Christmas with Violent Night. Now they are back with more holiday violence in Violent Night 2 co-starring Kristen Bell, Jared Harris, Joe Pantoliano, Maxwell Friedman, Daniela Melchior, Andrew Bachelor.

Violent Night 2 follows not-so-jolly Saint Nick forgets the true meaning of Christmas and finds himself in the heart of a lively mall community in desperate need of his help. Sapped of his magic, he’ll need another way to take on the goons threatening the mall, and time is running out. Santa must rediscover his faith in goodness and call in for some last-minute reinforcements from the one person no baddie wants to tangle with: Mrs. Claus.
