John Wick 1-3

One of the biggest surprise hits to come out of 2014 was that action flick John Wick starring Keanu Reeves that did so well it has spawned three sequels. Now in anticipation of the fourth entry to hit theaters Lionsgate is bringing the all-new John Wick 1-3 Stash Book 4K Collection home.
John Wick follows a brilliantly lethal ex-assassin John Wick who is senselessly attacked by sadistic young thugs, but they have no idea that they’ve just awakened the boogeyman. With New York City as his bullet-riddled playground, Wick embarks on a merciless rampage, hunting down his adversaries with the skill and ruthlessness that made him an underworld legend.
The film is such a simple premise to set it up and then unleashes an action spectacle no one expected at the time. Reeves found his calling with this film and it is one that brings he pain while creating an entire world of assassins like never before. This feature brought top notch action and violence that kept you on the edge of your seat and begging for more and we got just that.
John Wick: Chapter 2 follows legendary hit man John Wick who is forced out of retirement again by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome, where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.
More often than not the sequels are just not as good as the original and this one set the bar high. Thankfully it wasted no time bringing more of the same action and fun to the forefront and delivered as good if not better than the first. The new additions to the action and stepping it up while expanding the universe made for the perfect sequel that I loved and once again gave us the promise of more.
John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum follows super assassin John Wick who has a $14 million dollar price tag on his head after killing a member of the High Table, the shadowy international assassins’ guild. Now excommunicado, and with any army of the world’s most ruthless hit men and women on his trail, John must find a way to survive in this third chapter of the adrenaline- fueled action series.
Once again they found a way to step things up as well as expand the world of assassins. The basis is more of the same from the previous entry, but the addition of Halle Berry and her badass dogs teaming up with Wick made for yet more awesomeness. This one also brought in the iconic Mark Dacascos to take on Wick which had me all kinds of excited and was not disappointed. Like the others this one ended with the promise or more to come which we are thankfully getting soon.
